Dear Galloping Gardener: the great German garden-author Karl Foerster once wrote a book about "Blue gardens" (design), and he chose not only a lot of (almost - in his eyes there does not exist a true blue one) blue flowering plants, but also peacocks as an adornment for a garden... When I jog at the Elbchaussee in Hamburg, there is the big Hirsch-Park (deers), and there one can hear the strange cries of the peacocks. Maybe a sparrow could say something about their 'songs', too.
